Zoey Sophia Pápay with big success at ROMA CLASSIC 2021

​

With the participation of 108 young golfers from 18 countries of the world during 9.-10. October 2021 in Terre dei Consoli Golf Resort near Rome held place the international youth tournament ROMA CLASSIC 2021. In the category of Girls under 8 years Slovakia was represented by the young hope Zoey Sophia Pápay, a member of Lomnický Golf Club. In the changeable weather on the first day she played 8 pairs and 1 birdie, a total of 35 shots (-1) and she created a lead of 3 shots. 
 

The second day, however, was disrupted by a strong wind, which affected the events on the field and the results and unfortunately also the performance of Zoey Sophia, who did not maintain the first place and ended dup in the second place after the shootout.  

It was a great experience for Zoey Sophia, because she encountered similar weather conditions for the first time, what will definitely strengthen her in her future. Congratulations on a successful representation and we keep our fingers crossed for the next tournaments.
