The finals of the U.S.Kids Golf Tour SK in GGGR Skalica: Zoey Sophia Pápay wins and receives the PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2022 AWARD

Zoey Sophia couldn´t find a vanquisher in the category of girls under 10 throughout the whole season, and in the final round she confirmed her dominance in this age category. With a lead of 5 shots, she won in pair of the course (36 hits) and she did not give her opponents any chance from the beginning, when she hit 7 pars, 1 bogey and 1 birdie. At the same time, the weather wasn´t exactly perfect for golf, the temperatures in the morning reached around 12 degrees and unpleasant wind was blowing. In addition to long and straight drives, she also did great in putting, when she had 7 two-putts, and 2 one-putts.

With the victory from this tournament, she also received the PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2022 award with the highest number of points earned during the year-long tour in the shared category with the boys.
